A. Christopher Hayden is presently an assistant professor and interim chair within the Division of Social Work/Criminal Justice. Dr. Hayden graduated magna cum laude from Kentucky State University in 1992. Prior to returning to KSU, Dr. Hayden was a state employee where he worked primarily with juvenile offenders and their families. He is the institutional representative for the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences (ACJS), and volunteers on various committees at the University and in the community. Dr. Hayden's research interests include juvenile offenders, substance abuse, and community corrections. He is a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
