Warren Errol Haynes is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration in the College of Professional Studies - School of Public Administration, Social Work, and Criminal Justice at Kentucky State University (KYSU). Prior to joining KYSU, Dr. Haynes was a Postdoctoral Associate (Public Policy and Administration) at Rutgers University. He has over 15 years of experience in state and local government, higher education administration and nonprofit management. Warren earned his Doctorate in Public Administration from the College of Public Affairs at the University of Baltimore, M.S.Ed. degree in Higher Education Administration from the School of Public Affairs at the City University of New York-Baruch College, M.C.R.P. degree in City and Regional Planning from the School of Architecture and Planning at Morgan State University, and a B.A. degree in Political Science from the College of Liberal Arts at Morgan State University.
Research Interests Include
Community development, education policy and administration, policy implementation, public and nonprofit management, social equity, and workforce development.
