Gilbert Singletary received his Ph.D. in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Singletary has broad areas of research interests that include: motivation and human behavior, domestic violence and PTSD, religious perceptions and maladaptive behaviors, and judicial decisions and jury selections. Dr. Singletary is a licensed forensic practitioner, with extensive experience and expertise in forensic mental health. Dr. Singletary specializes in substance abuse and comorbid disorders. Prior to joining the faculty at KSU, Dr. Singletary served as the Chief Executive Officer at Kentucky Counseling and Community Services.
