The College of Business and Computer Science (CBCS) at Kentucky State University came to existence on July 1, 2011 and is made up of the School of Business and the Division of Computer Science. It offers baccalaureate degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science, a Masters of Business Administration and a Masters of Science in Computer Science Technology.
The School of Business offers an undergraduate business program with concentrations in Accounting, General Business, Management, Management Information Systems and Marketing and a part-time evening MBA program. The Division of Computer Science also offers both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The BS in computer science is offered with concentrations in Computer Information Systems, Information Security and Gaming. The division also offers a Master of Science in Computer Science Technology with specializations either in Information Technology or Security and Networks.
The School of Business is accredited by ACBSP. The CBCS is committed to get all business programs accredited by AACSB and to secure ABET accreditation for the computer science programs by 2017.
