Developing Kentucky’s Future Business and Technology Leaders


The College of Business and Computer Science offers four-year and graduate level professional and technical academic programs that are built on the foundation of KSU’s recognized liberal education. These programs are based on the philosophy that the best education for business and technology leaders is one which combines professional and technical studies with offerings in the liberal arts and extensive hands-on real life experiences.

For the large part of their first two years, students will be engaged in the liberal studies portion of their education. The focus for their final two years is the mastery of the Business and/or IT disciplines. The curriculum for the Business and the Computer Science majors begins by laying the broad foundations of the respective discipline and proceeds to more rigorous and focused examination of functional areas of business and computing.

The College of Business and Computer Science offers programs of study leading to the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and the MBA degrees in Business Administration and the Bachelor of Science (BS) and the Master of Science (MS) degrees in Computer Science Technology.
