I am originally from Shelbyville, Kentucky and moved to Frankfort in 2000. I have been with Kentucky State University since July 1985. I was originally hired to work in the Community Research Department before the office building was built here at the Aquaculture Research Center (ARC). I left for a brief time between December, 1990 and April, 1993. I started as a Secretary in 1985 and have held the positions of Principal Secretary, Coordinator 1, Administrative Assistant II & III.
In my current position I provide support for the Chair of the Division which includes faculty, staff, graduate, and undergraduate students.
My favorite part of my job is the variety of tasks that I have each day and the diversity of the people I get to interact with; especially the students. There is never a dull moment at ARC and each day is an adventure.
