Danny Adams has worked for the past 20 years as the Small Farm Assistant in Wayne County. Danny helps implement the Small Farm Program for KSU at the Wayne County Extension Office, provdiding research-based agriculture information to area farmers. He also helps small farmers improve their agricultural practices through soil and forage testing, and through the identification and control of diseases, insects and weeds.
The Small Farm Program helps farmers with their management practices and record keeping, directing them to other state and federal agencies that serve small farmers. The program also assists farmers with informatoin about beef cattle, grain production and horticulture enterprises.
Danny is always working with farmers on alternative crops and new enterprises, while providing them with one-on-one assistance. |
