Alan D. Benson brings more than 20 years of experience in the areas of Operations Management, Training & Development, and Education. He has managed over 120 personnel, facilitated trainings throughout the United States, and increased profits for major corporations and service for non-profit organizations.
Alan is experienced and passionate about education. He is an Advisory Board Member of the University of Louisville College of Business Ulmer Career Center and USA Success. He was appointed by former Governor Paul Patton to the Early Childhood Development Authority and is a former member of the Jefferson County Public School African-American Achievement Task Force.
Alan earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Louisville. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University Southeast. He served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and is a Persian Gulf War veteran. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky and is the proud father of twins, Hilton and Hayley Benson. |
