SSS Scholar Expectations

  • Maintain at least 12 credit hours with a minimum grade point average of 2.5. If drop below a 12 credit hours, inform SSS office prior to doing so

  • Meet with the SSS counselor as scheduled each semester

  • Inform the SSS office before withdrawing from any class or withdrawing from the University

  • Notify the SSS office of any changes to name, address, phone, or any pertinent data relative to demographic or contact information or if tutoring assistance is received outside of SSS

  • Seek tutoring immediately upon experiencing difficulty in any enrolled class.

  • Participate in at least two (2) SSS sponsored workshop or activity each semester. 

  • Attend tutoring sessions if:

    • Grade point average is less than 2.5

    • A letter grade of “C” or less is received on any graded assignment.
