CITLA strives to engage faculty and professional staff in building on institutional, individual and disciplinary strengths, focus their creativity, intellectual skills and professional rigor on enhancing teaching and learning; and provide collaborative, collegial support for enhancing student success.
A sampling of current or planned services includes:
- Workshops, seminars, consultations, discussion groups, Faculty/Staff Learning Communities, summer camps, training and orientations, and focused teaching, learning, instructional technology and assessment initiatives targeted to enhancing student success and educational outcomes
- Planning and support for teaching-related grant initiatives, program and curriculum redesign, effective curriculum implementation and support
- Individual, program and departmental consultation on teaching, learning and classroom assessment issues
- Training, effective use, and just-in-time support for integrating instruction-related technologies
