National Guard Commercial Shot At KSU

Kentucky State University and members of the Kentucky Army National Guard were featured Dec. 13 in a commercial congratulating football teams selected for the MaxPreps Tour of Champions, a 25-stop tour of the best high school teams in the nation based on MaxPreps rankings, said Andy Beal, president of MaxPreps.com.

Since the National Guard is a prominent advertiser on the Web site and sponsor of the tour, it was chosen by MaxPreps.com to create two different commercials to both advertise for the National Guard and congratulate the winners.

The commercial should run nationwide on various news stations. The crew shot in KSU’s William Exum Center and at Dunbar High School in Lexington.

MaxPreps.com is an all-sports Web site, started in 2002 to feature every high school sports team in the nation and to post important information such as schedules, rosters, highlights, scores and a Web page for each athlete.
