Welcome to Kentucky State University!  Although I have been president of KSU for only a short length of time, I am most impressed by the curiosity, enthusiasm, and involvement of our students, the beauty of our campus, and the commitment of our faculty, staff, and alumni.

We strive to offer the best education possible – providing students with the intellectual, leadership, and social tools today to fashion a successful future for themselves, their communities, and the nation.

Through our strong academic and extracurricular programs, students are encouraged to learn, lead, and serve.   Here, students experience close interaction with faculty.  Access to our state-of-the-art library and labs enhances their learning experience.  Our residential halls provide a home away from home.  As well, our sports activities, cultural programs, Student Government Association, and other clubs and organizations contribute to an all-around enriching, supportive, and stimulating campus environment.
