The mission of the Kentucky State University Police Department is to enhance the quality of life on campus by working cooperatively with the public and within the framework of the constitution to enforce the laws, preserve the peace, reduce fear, and provide for a safe environment.

These services will meet the highest level of customer satisfaction and will constantly strive to anticipate the needs of the customer. The mission will be achieved through leadership, education, and quality improvements with constant performance monitoring to reduce service variances and to speed service delivery in a cost-effective manner.
