ANNUAL ALUMNI CAMPAIGN 2005-2006
Growing new members
Growing local chapter
Growing a dynamic National Alumni Association
Dear Alumni,
Last year, President Mary Evans Sias challenged Kentucky State University alumni to donate $225,000 to student scholarships. She asked alumni to be a part of making a difference for KSU students and Kentucky State University. KSU’s alumni accepted the challenge, exceeded the goal and contribute $261,975.
Remember your first day as a K-State freshman? You were excited about becoming a college student. Perhaps you looked forward to beginning a new phase in your life as an adult. And maybe you were a little scared of what was ahead for you in college – and in life. Little did you know on the first day . . . the people that you meet in college would become your friends for life.
No doubt, Kentucky State University has made a positive impact on your life. For one – you are a college graduate. Consider beginning yet another phase as a lifetime friend to Kentucky State University. Please consider making a donation today to the 2005-2006 Annual Alumni Campaign.
Knowing that every gift plays a part in the growth envisioned for Kentucky State University, this year’s Annual Alumni Campaign goal is $150,000 . KSU and the National Alumni Association, however, are asking for a whole lot more. We’re also asking for your support as an active member of a local alumni chapter and the National Alumni Association.
This year, our goal is to grow the National Alumni Association by 600 new members. To accomplish this goal, your one-year pledge or outright gift of $250 will entitle you to the following:
- A one-year, $25 membership in the KSU National Alumni Association
or
- $25 toward your National Alumni Association life membership subscription
and
- Up to $25 toward a one-year membership in your local alumni chapter
Your tax-deductible contribution will also benefit . . .
