Capital Planning/Budget

OFM with the Budget Office develops a capital plan and budget for each biennium that reflects the desired development pattern for the University.

Facilities Planning and Space Utilization

OFM provides assistance with space relocations, office reassignments and optimization of space for University departments and units.  Space utilization plans are provided to illustrate the efficient use of office, classroom and study space on campus, as well as the appropriate designation for classifications of space consistent with enrollment.  This includes migration plans and functional unit co-location analysis.

Design and Construction Management

OFM is the liaison between KSU administration, user groups and the various departments of the Commonwealth of Kentucky (Division of Engineering, Contracting and Administration, and the Budget Office).

Campus Master Planning

OFM provides a regular update to the campus master plan to be in sync with the President’s Strategic Plan.
