Kentucky State University will ceremoniously open Hathaway and Whitney M. Young Jr. halls starting at 10 a.m. Friday, July 25.
The KSU Board of Regents will suspend its morning session at 10 a.m. and travel to the south campus to cut the ribbon, opening Whitney M. Young Jr. Hall. President Mary Evans Sias will give a brief speech, followed by the ribbon cutting and a first floor tour of the residence hall.
Then, the group will travel to the main campus to cut the ribbon to officially open Hathaway Hall.
The board will resume its meeting at 1 p.m. with the Audit Committee report, followed by the full board meeting at 1:30 p.m.
