Attention Thorobred Family and Friends
Hello My Fellow Thorobreds,
In the final days of the Tom Joyner School of the Month program, there is a concentrated effort to raise funds and awareness for our alma mater. I know you are as proud as I am to be an alumnus of Kentucky State University and that is why I am requesting your help.
Current and incoming KSU students need you to click here and contribute this month. In order to have a strong finish, there are some levels of incentives for your generosity. A minimum gift is $5.00. All donations will be recognized, however, gifts over $500 can be pledged, but must be paid-in-full by December 10, 2013. Check out some of the limited KSU goodies and make your gift by May 31st: Please note: All checks must be made out to The Tom Joyner Foundation. Hey, if you have already donated and you want to enjoy some of the below incentives; multiple donations are allowed. Just remember to enter Kentucky State University on all donations/pledges.
Level 1: $100 – 1 bottle of wine w/ 125th label *
Level 2: $200 – 2 Season football passes*
Level 3: $250 – 2 Season basketball passes*
Level 4: $500 - Gifts from levels 1, 2 & 3* + ++
Level 5: $1000 – Gifts from levels 1, 2 & 3* + ++ plus entered in drawing for access for 2 to the President's Suite for homecoming only (2 Tickets, Reserved Parking) – One (1) Winner
Level 6: $1500 - Gifts from levels 1,2 & 3* + ++ plus entered in drawing for 2 President's Suite passes for all home football games except homecoming (Tickets to all games #, Recognized at homecoming) – One (1) Winner
Level 7: $2000 - Gifts from levels 1, 2 & 3* + ++ plus entered in drawing for Invitation to President's House for Reception or Dinner – Five (5) Winners (winners have option to bring one guest)
*= While supplies last
+= If pledge is NOT paid off BEFORE football season, donor will receive football passes for 2014 season
++= In order to receive basketball pass for 2013-14 season pledge MUST be paid off by Oct. 1, 2013, otherwise donor will receive basketball passes for 2014-15 season.
#= Winner will have access to President’s Suite for two to all football games except homecoming. But will have two general admission tickets to the homecoming game.
- Challenge your classmates, the class with most paid donations by Homecoming 2013 will be recognized sometime during homecoming festivities.
- The Fraternities and Sororities with the most paid donations by Homecoming 2013 will be recognized during homecoming.
- Fifty (50) first time donors over $250 will receive a certificate of appreciation.
Contact your Human Resource department and see if your company participates in a matching gift program.
In closing, I’d like to send a personal SHOUT OUT to our College of Business-Accounting classmates, Sorority Sisters and Centennial 1986 Class to step up and meet our challenge of $2,000.
